Billing & Accounts Receivable Coordinator

We are seeking a Billing & Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join the Vista team in coordinating all aspects of the organization’s billing and accounts receivable processes, including the billing of state agencies and private payers.

This Full-Time (Monday – Friday) and Benefit and Paid Time-Off eligible position will be based at our Madison, CT campus.
 
Responsibilities for a Billing & Account Receivable Coordinator include:

• Ensuring invoices for services are processed and funds are collected in a timely manner
• Updating and maintaining accurate and complete billing records, accounts, and reports
• Compiling data for monthly submission to state agencies via their billing systems
• Reconciling monthly billing to ensure accuracy of all systems
• Overseeing collections process and sending out timely reminders when needed
• Communicating with internal and external stakeholders on questions and concerns regarding billing and accounts receivable

• High School Diploma plus 2 to 3 years of related experience in billing or accounts receivable accounting
• Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
• Preferred experience with billing state agencies, insurance companies, or similar entities
• Preferred experience using billing and/or tuition management software
• Preferred experience tracking accounts receivables in an accounting system
