Trish was inspired to write the book after listening to her clients talk about their struggles with financial records. There was a common theme to their stories: business owners were experts in their fields but knew very little about managing their finances.

Trish decided to write From Shoebox Accounting To Financial Success for the ‘non-accountants’ in the world. She uses very simple accounting terms, with cartoons and real-life examples to illustrate her points.

The book provides strategies for individuals in small businesses to assist them in making better financial decisions. Strategies range from finding the best business structure for your needs to maximizing deductions.

The book is published by Green Heart Living Press, a small publishing house based out of Farmington, Connecticut. From Shoebox Accounting to Financial Success is Trish Maselli’s first book. Trish plans on releasing an accounting workbook and is in the process of developing online classes.
