Government Benefits for Your Loved One with Special Needs
The workshop will be presented by Vista’s Benefits & Advocacy Services Manager, Allison McPherson, and feature Stuart Hawkins from Futures Planned. Allison McPherson has been with Vista for 19 years and is an expert at advocating for individuals with disabilities. Stuart Hawkins has been a financial adviser for 28 years, with a focus and passion for Special Needs Planning (SNP) since 2005.
This workshop will provide a greater understanding of the various government benefits available to your loved one. It will discuss in detail how to qualify, maximize, and preserve benefits such as Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Social Security Disability (SSDI), Medicaid, Medicare, and the ABLE Act.
