WIB Luncheon - Robin Fox

Calling all Women!
Take a bit of time for yourself, join us for a delicious lunch and lively conversation.
"From Chaos to Calm" with Robin Fox.
Techniques and Tools to Navigate Challenging Times

With so many traumatic situations staring at us wherever we look, our minds are collectively overwhelmed. Understanding trauma’s impact on ourselves and others increases our ability to cope, be compassionate, and thrive. This presentation helps us identify dis-regulated behaviors associated with trauma and teaches strategies to shift ourselves and others back to a calm and regulated state of mind.
Robin Fox B.A. Psychology, M.Ed., is a Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) educator, lifelong meditation practitioner, consultant, keynote speaker, and professional improv actor. Robin is a member of the State of Connecticut's SEL Collaborative and partners with the CT Dept. of Education on SEL presentations and anti-bullying projects. Robin wrote Trust Talk for Teens, a non-defensive communication, brain science, and safe gun storage program that is the educational component of Ethan's Law. Her book, SocialEyes Together®, helps students navigate social and emotional challenges using Applied Improvisation, Mindfulness, and Social Cognition. www.social-eyes.org
