Sip Welcomes Spooky Season with Two Wine Classes

Sip Wine Bar in Old Saybrook, CT, which was named Best Wine Bar by CT Magazine in 2024, is celebrating the start of the holiday season with two wine classes that invite adults to celebrate in the fun of Halloween.

OLD SAYBROOK,CT – OCTOBER 9, 2024 – In celebration of the Halloween season, Sip Wine Bar in Old Saybrook, CT is offering two creatively-themed wine tasting classes during the month of October. First, on October 15, is the Scary Wines & Regions class, which invites guests into the world of mysterious, uncommon, and obscure wine varietals and regions. While some may have “scary” names that are unfamiliar or hard to pronounce, guests are sure to enjoy embarking on this flavorful, educational journey.

The second class, a Halloween Candy Pairing, takes place on October 30, and seeks to remind adults of the fun and flavor of Halloween by pairing candy favorites with perfectly-selected wines from around the world! It’s all treats and no tricks at this event, but guests should feel welcome to come dressed up if they’re feeling festive!

“October kicks off our busy holiday season here at Sip,” said Derrik Kennedy, owner. “We love Halloween, and we wanted to find creative ways to invite adults to join in the fun!”

Sip will be hosting its ever-popular holiday-themed tasting classes in November and December as its guests have come to expect as well, and details and tickets can always be found on Sip’s website, https://sipsaybrook.com/events
