Curriculum Program Coordinator
We are seeking a Curriculum Program Coordinator to join the Vista team in working with young adult students 18 and older at our Discover Independence Program. The Discover Independence Program is a college-like experience where diverse young adults can learn to develop meaningful relationships, safely navigate their local community, establish a vocational direction, and ultimately achieve personal long-term success.
Location: This position is based at our Westbrook, CT campus.
Job Type/Shift Information: This is a Full-Time position with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 1pm to 9pm. Friday hours may flex on occasion.
This is a Benefits and PTO (Paid Time-Off) eligible position.
Responsibilities for a Curriculum Program Coordinator include:
- Developing and implementing curriculum instruction and systems the support students independent living needs, community integration, and social/cognitive areas
- Evaluating student progress and providing appropriate trainings
- Coordinating activities for evening “Day is Done” programming for students
- High School diploma plus two (2) years of related experience
- Valid driver’s license plus a safe driving record
